International Appliance Technical Conference & Exhibition
The Conference exists to disseminate technical and general information to the consumer and commercial appliance industry, serving the interests of the appliance design engineering community on an international basis. ITEDO will contribute to the conference this year and present a paper on March 29:
FROM 3D CAD TO TECHNICAL ILLUSTRATION # One of today's challenges to manufacturers in different industries worldwide is the requirement of producing more and more, high quality technical illustrations for their spare parts catalogs, assembly manuals, repair guides, etc. in less time. Many are responding by reusing their existing 3D CAD data for technical illustration requirements. The subsequent results are combined with legacy graphics and delivered within effective interactive publications via the web or CD-ROM. The process invites change throughout the entire life cycle of the supported products to ensure accurate information is available at all times.
