IsoViewの配布

Get to know the details about IsoView distribution and learn about the differences between the IsoView and IsoView WebCGM distribution.

What is included in the license for the IsoView Distribution Kit?
The license includes the right for the licensee to use the IsoView software within his company and to distribute it to third parties as part of proprietary software applications. The licensee signs a license agreement and is registered as the licensee in the appendix to the license agreement.

Special provision for IsoView WebCGM
IsoView WebCGM has a similar license scope concerning use and distribution. The license conditions do not have to be signed. As opposed to IsoView Distribution Kit, the use of IsoView WebCGM is not allowed throughout the company, but is restricted to a single workstation. However, the use of one version within the company is possible by distribution via an internal network.

How am I allowed to use IsoView?
The use within the company is restricted to office buildings with the same postal address.
If the licensee is an individual person, then the same applies accordingly. That means, the use is limited to premises with the same postal address.
The same also applies to use via an internal company Intranet. Use in accordance with the license means that access by employees must be restricted to the same location.

Special provision for IsoView WebCGM
The use of one version within the company is possible through distribution via an internal network; however, it must be ensured that the latest version published by ITEDO on our website is the version distributed on the internal network.

How am I allowed to distribute IsoView?
You may distribute IsoView to third parties as part of unlimited proprietary software applications. The recipient of your application that contains IsoView may use that application in the same manner as yourself. However, he is not allowed to distribute it. Therefore, you may grant your customer a sub-license for use of the software, but not for distribution. Please be aware that you must inform your customer - preferably in writing - of the details of his rights of use and that he must accept these rights from you.

Special provision for IsoView WebCGM
The distribution rights are identical. However, you are granted the additional right to distribute IsoView WebCGM to third parties also without integration in a proprietary software application, if distribution takes place by means of a physical medium (i.e. CD-ROM, floppy disk, etc.). Electronic distribution (via the Internet) is allowed only via a link to the official ITEDO website http://www.itedo.com/.

Permission to use ITEDO logo web buttons for this link can be obtained directly from ITEDO.
Each distribution is subject to the restriction that only the latest version may be distributed as soon as ITEDO has informed you of a new release. However, you can continue to use the previous version for a period of one additional year or until you publish a new version of your software containing IsoView WebCGM - whichever comes first.

Am I allowed to transfer my license for the IsoView Distribution Kit to third parties?
It is fundamentally possible to transfer your license. However, you must inform ITEDO of this transfer and provide ITEDO with the data of the recipient. Please always contact ITEDO for details.

Be aware that a transfer is only possible in each case if you fully surrender all rights to use and distribute the software and if you destroy all copies that you have made, in addition to the documentation.

Special provisions for IsoView WebCGM
The transfer of a license for IsoView WebCGM is possible at any time, if you surrender all rights to the software and also transfer the license agreement to the recipient, who must accept the latter. Furthermore, you must also transfer to the recipient all copies, previous versions, software and hardware in which IsoView WebCGM was integrated, in addition to all copies of font software that was converted to other formats.

What do I have to do If I create applications for distribution (e.g. a spare parts catalog) for another company and these applications contain IsoView?
You purchased the IsoView Distribution software and received a license. You need the license in order to create applications for your customer. You entered your company name and address in the annex to the license. As soon as you have completed the applications for your customer, you must transfer the license to your customer, since he should receive the right to distribute the applications. This is provided for in the annex to the license agreement under “Information for service providers”. You should enter the name of your customer here if the latter is known at the time the license is purchased.

If you wish to transfer the license, please contact ITEDO. We need to be informed about new licensees and will be glad to help you with all formalities.

Special provisions for IsoView WebCGM
If you use IsoView WebCGM, a license transfer is not absolutely necessary. Your customer may be able to install IsoView WebCGM free of charge via the ITEDO website http://www.itedo.com/.

Am I allowed to distribute copies of IsoView by themselves, if IsoView is not part of my proprietary application?
No. This is not provided for by the license and requires a contractual agreement as an OEM dealer or sales partner of ITEDO. This is not permitted without the written permission of ITEDO.

Special provision for IsoView WebCGM
You are allowed to distribute IsoView WebCGM to third parties also without integration in a proprietary software application, if distribution takes place by means of a physical medium (i.e. CD-ROM, floppy disk, etc.). Electronic distribution (via the Internet) is allowed only via a link to the official ITEDO website. Permission to use ITEDO logo web buttons for this link can be obtained directly from ITEDO.

How may I make IsoView applications available to my customers on my website?
If you wish to make illustrations containing IsoView available to your customers on your website, you must ensure that these illustrations are available only in a protected area of your website and can be accessed only by means of a password that is not available to the general public.
This is the only way to ensure that you maintain an overview of customers to whom you distribute IsoView applications.

Special provision for IsoView WebCGM
You may make proprietary applications containing IsoView WebCGM available on websites without restrictions, also for download.

When does the license for IsoView begin and end?
The license for use and distribution of the IsoView Distribution Kit software package begins the moment when the product is paid for AND the license agreement has been signed by ITEDO and yourself. Please remember to send a copy to ITEDO. The license is valid for an indefinite period, as long as you comply with the provisions of the license.

You can, if you wish, terminate the license at any time by surrendering the rights of use and distribution and destroying the software product including the documentation and all copies of the software.

Special provisions for IsoView WebCGM
