Did you know that there are free standard parts libraries on the Internet?

Most of you will probably already have heard of it at least. But most of you will probably also think that it is only of interest to designers and CAD illustrators.
That couldn't be further from the truth! IsoDraw and IsoDraw CADprocess enable you to use these 2D and 3D components with consummate ease for illustration purposes.

Customers very often ask us whether we could possibly provide additional standard component views for the IsoDraw library or whether we don't at least know of another source of these.

This is just one example, there are plenty of standard parts libraries on the Internet.

Many of these components, e.g. door handles and door knobs, can be very useful. These catalogs allow you to select the format (2D or 3D) that you wish to use to download the data. The download is generally free of charge, though it is necessary to register to use the portal.

Once you have created a standard part illustration, you can include it in the IsoDraw library where you can then access it easily whenever you need it.
