What advantage do intelligent illustrations offer in contrast to common ones when it comes to updating the hotspots during a revision of an electronic catalog?

The hotspots of intelligent illustrations do not need to be aligned manually because they automatically adjust themselves to the exchanged graphical objects.

A graphical object, be it only a part of an illustration or the whole illustration, can also have a hotspot contour added to it. As previously mentioned, hotspot contours can be used as link sources and these references can be saved in an illustration file along with any graphic information.

In the case of a revision, when a graphical object is moved or changed the hotspot contour saved in the new illustration always corresponds to the new object. In the case of intelligent illustrations, the hotspot contour always adapts itself automatically to the respective new graphical object.
