In this additional work step the links between the illustrations and the entries of the parts list are created.

These links allow an easier and quicker navigation between text and illustrations and, therefore, are the essential advantage of an electronic catalog over a paper catalog.

For this reason, hotspots are created on the illustrations that lead the user to the corresponding parts list entries.  He or she simply needs to click on them with the mouse pointer.
