Hennef/Burlingame, CA, March 2004. ITEDO Software has joined the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). This decision underlines the company's policy of actively supporting graphics standards.

ITEDO Software looks back on a long history of activities in promoting graphics standards and interoperability: ITEDO has participated in major standardization efforts like the Air Transport Association's Graphics Working Group (ATA) and CALS.

Furthermore, ITEDO is a co-founder of the CGM Open consortium of which Dieter Weidenbrück, Founder and CEO of ITEDO Software, has been the Chairman for the past years.

A closer look on the mission statement of W3C, which defines "promoting interoperability and encouraging an open forum for discussion" as one of the Consortium's goals, will reveal that ITEDO's decision to join the Consortium is corollary.

We look forward to sharing our own experience and former achievements in this field with the other members and in turn benefit from their knowledge.
