This depends on your goals. The range of functionality for each variant differs in terms of the basic purpose.
We offer three IsoCompose variants: the IsoCompose Editor, the IsoCompose Publisher, and IsoCompose Full Version.
The IsoCompose Editor The Editor is meant for the development of electronic catalogs, but it does not include distribution rights. This variant is especially well suited for service providers who create catalogs for their customers but do not distribute data themselves.
The IsoCompose Publisher The Publisher is meant exclusively for the generation and unlimited distribution of electronic parts catalogs that have already been created with the IsoCompose Editor. Layout work cannot be done with the Publisher. The Publisher allows revisions, but only as far as they concern changes of:
- the parts lists.
- the table of contents.
- the illustrations.
The Publisher is meant for industry customers who have their catalogs created externally (e.g. by a service provider). The customer would only be responsible for distribution of the catalog with the data.
IsoCompose Full Version The Full Version consists of the Editor and Publisher. This version combines layout creation and unlimited distribution of catalogs.
The Full Version allows departments responsible for technical documentation to handle in-house both the creation and the distribution of a company's parts catalogs.
